Entering his second year with the Wolverines and 14th year of coaching overall, Ethan is a level five USA Hockey coach that hails from Winfield, Illinois.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Belmont University, Ethan began his hockey coaching career in Nashville with the NYHL. Coaching teams with the Nashville Flyers, TPH Thunder and USN-Brentwood Academy High School.

Since then, Ethan gone on to lead his teams to two National Championship appearances, five state championship games, along with coaching two Tennessee State Players of the Year.

In 2020, Ethan went on to help create the WMB Foundation that since its inception, has gone on to provide over $100,000 in athletic scholarships to hockey players in the Middle-Tennessee area along with creating a hockey equipment recycling program that has handed out hundreds of pieces of hockey equipment to players in need.

During the 2022-2023 hockey season, Ethan, along with the help from Rich Melin and Beth Anne Wagner, created the Nashville Wolverines Girls Hockey Program to provide girls of the middle- TN area an opportunity to play travel hockey who may have not had the opportunity previously.
